I pencilled, inked, watercolored and hand sewed this children’s book in 18 hours for my nephew Aaron, who was turning six and shares my birthday. This was two days after helping organize the (very stressful) 2002 Portland Zine Symposium, and after I had just rushed to finish the two Brainfag 6 minis, as well as the first issue of Shrike. I didn’t sleep much that week.
