Easy Peasy Peanut Lime Miso Sauce

April 25, 2018

I made this sauce back when dirt was being made and I still had hair, when I lived on Orcas Island and thought I would be a fancy cook. It’s so quick and easy and surely a completely blasphemized version from what's still being served at The Kitchen.

Here, make this:

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (of any type, who cares!)
  • 1/2 cup water (make it fancy water)
  • 1T miso (white mellow works well)
  • 1t minced ginger
  • juice of 1 really good-looking lime
  • 2T tamari (or however salty you want to be)
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • 1 scallion (some people call them green onions)
  • skosh o’ cilantro if you have some laying around

Toss all of these in a blender or processor, smash into sauce.

Very tasty with some rice noodles and tofu or chicken.

So good, so quick, so easy. Yum.
